Sophie Chao is currently a student pursuing a degree in art and design at Carnegie Mellon University. Her work focuses on repurposed material such as fabric, and scrap paper in order to create textured emotionally potent composition.

Her  purpose in creating art is to share her thoughts and opinions with the world, whether the art piece speaks about personal emotion, a political opinion, or simply to make others laugh.
